"Cancellation was kind of a hassle"
I’m not sure if I missed something, but the billing part was a little confusing for me. When I tried to cancel, it felt more annoying than it probably needed to be, and I had to double-check a few things before I felt like it was actually sorted out.

"Maybe it’s just me, but the progress felt a little uneven"
Maybe it’s just me, but the levels felt kind of strangely matched. Some parts seemed to move along fine, while others felt a bit off in difficulty or pacing, so the overall progress didn’t feel very consistent

"Live lessons were fine, just not great"
Tried the live lessons for a few weeks. Teacher was friendly and explained things clearly, but the classes sometimes felt rushed. Didn’t really get much time to ask questions, which was a bit frustrating. Also had a mix of student levels, so one minute it felt too slow, then suddenly too difficult. Not a bad experience, just expected a little more for the price.
"Clear pricing made me feel more comfortable"
I’m always a little nervous about signing up for online services because I don’t want to get hit with random extra charges later. With this, the pricing was really clear from the start, which was reassuring. I could see what I was paying for before joining, and nothing felt sneaky or confusing. For learning French online, that made me feel a lot more relaxed about giving it a try. Simple, fair, and easy to trust.

"Great for getting used to French"
I’ve been using it mostly for listening practice, and it’s been useful. Some sections still feel a bit too fast for me, but being able to replay them makes a big difference. It feels like an easy way to train my ear for French, if that makes sense.

"Helpful for French vocab, but a little frustrating too"
I’ve been using it mostly to build up my French vocabulary, some of the lessons are really nice, simple, clear, and easy to stick with. I’d feel like I was actually making progress, which was encouraging. But then other times it felt like it jumped around too much, and I’d get a bit annoyed because I just wanted more review before moving on. So yeah, I like parts of it, but it’s not perfect. Overall, it’s okay and still useful, just not as steady as I hoped.
"I do actually like the French lessons, and..."
I do actually like the French lessons, and Alexa explains things in a way that’s easy to follow, so I don’t really have any complaints about the course itself. The content is solid and I’ve been happy with that part.
The annoying part was customer support. I had a login/payment issue and sent a message thinking it would get sorted quickly, but nope, I was waiting days for a proper reply. Then when they finally got back to me, it felt rushed and didn’t even fully fix the problem the first time. It’s not the worst experience ever, but when you’re paying for something, this kind of thing gets frustrating fast...

"It was helpful for practicing speaking, but I’ll..."
It was helpful for practicing speaking, but I’ll admit I felt a bit embarrassed at times because I still struggled to keep a real conversation going. I just wish there had been more natural back-and-forth practice

"Alexa makes French feel less intimidating"
I’ve got mixed feelings in some ways, but overall I’m really glad I tried lessons with Alexa. She’s friendly and genuinely funny, so it doesn’t feel stressful or awkward like I expected. Sometimes I still get frustrated with French, but her teaching style feels natural and real, which makes it a lot easier to keep going

"I tried Learn French with Alexa for..."
I tried Learn French with Alexa for a few weeks, i did enjoy a lot of it. Alexa comes across as friendly and easy to listen to, which made me feel less intimidated about learning French. Most of the videos were clear enough that I could follow along without getting frustrated.
That said, some lessons felt a little too slow for me, and I found myself wishing there were more examples or quick practice exercises afterward. When I’m learning something new, I feel more confident if I can immediately test myself, so I sometimes finished a video feeling like I understood it but wasn’t totally sure I could actually use it.
The sound and video quality are fine, not super polished, but they do the job. Overall, I’d say it’s good for getting the basics down, especially if you like a calm, friendly teaching style. I did learn useful things, but emotionally it left me a bit mixed because some lessons felt really helpful while others made me want a bit more structure and consistency.

"Super easy to use"
I’m happy with how simple the site is. The lessons are easy to find, everything runs smoothly on my laptop, and there’s nothing that makes me stop and figure things out. I can just log in and pick up where I left off with my French, which is kind of great.

"Nice little find for French practice"
I’ve been trying to get a bit more consistent with my French lately, mostly just squeezing in practice whenever I have time, and I wanted something simple that didn’t feel overwhelming. After looking around a bit, I ended up using these worksheets, and they’ve actually been really easy to follow. The layout is clear, and they’ve been super useful for getting in some extra practice
"The lessons usually load just fine..."
The lessons usually load just fine for me, so no big complaints there. But every now and then the site kinda freezes up, and logging in took me a few tries once or twice. Works most days, just not always super smooth

"The quizzes really helped everything click"
I’ve noticed a big difference since using the quizzes. The feedback after each one made the lessons stick so much better, and it gave me a little confidence boost every time I could see what I was getting right and where I could improve. It’s a really helpful way to learn

"Works great on my phone"
I’ve been using it on my phone and the lessons load just fine. You don’t really have to worry about glitches or anything so far, it’s been smooth for me.

"Fits into my week easily"
I like that I can just do the lessons whenever I’ve got a bit of time, without feeling too much pressure. Some days I only watch a little part and then come back to it later. It kind of fits around work, family stuff, and everything else going on, so it’s been really handy and easy enough to keep up with...

"The practice actually makes it stick"
I’ve been using Learn French with Alexa mostly for the practice exercises, and they’ve made a bigger difference than I expected. It’s not just repeating for the sake of it, the way the exercises make me go over things helps me notice what I really understand and what I’m still guessing at. Verbs and listening have always been the parts where I get tripped up, so being able to check myself right away has been really useful. I like that I can do a little each day without it feeling like a huge task. It’s simple, steady, and it makes learning French feel less like memorizing random stuff and more like slowly building something that’s actually staying with me

"Good pace, but I was hoping for a bit more"
I’ve been using Learn French With Alexa for a few months now, and I do like the pace overall. As someone who learns slowly, I appreciate that it doesn’t make me feel rushed, but I’ll admit I’m a little disappointed that some parts still feel a bit barebones.
The lessons are short enough that I can usually fit one in after work without feeling drained. When I don’t understand something, I replay it, and most of the time it clicks, though I sometimes wish there were a few more examples or practice bits to really make it stick.
I’m still very much a beginner, but I’m definitely less lost than when I started. It’s easy to keep going with, which is a big plus, but I guess I was hoping to feel a little more confident by now.

"Clear and approachable, but could use more practice"
I’d give this 4 stars overall. Alexa explains everything in a really clear, friendly way, and she makes learning French feel a lot less intimidating. I especially liked how the grammar is broken down into smaller pieces because that made it much easier for me to follow. My only complaint is that I sometimes wanted a bit more practice after each topic to help it really stick. Still, the lessons are easy to understand and definitely helpful.

"Way Too Basic for What I Needed"
I was kind of baffled by how surface-level the lessons were. I kept waiting for things to go deeper, but it felt like we barely scratched the surface and then just moved on. If you're brand new, maybe it's fine, but I needed way more detailed explanations. I was practically yelling at my screen like, "Please explain that more!"
